Yuko Mohri began his residency with an exhibition on March 2 in which he exhibited together with Atsuko Mochida collaborative, experimental and improvisation works within the studio space. The works for this show have been inspired by the experiences of the artists in the daily life of Havana. Mohri and Mochida also offered a talk on their previous practices on the same day and presented their new pieces for the exhibition "Going Away Closer" that took place at the Wifredo Lam Contemporary Art Center on March 9. This residence is the result of the exchange between Artista X Artista and the Japan Foundation.
